@Robert Gentel,
Not sure what happned since yesterday but my browser now displays A2K fonts properly and no longer appears as though out-of-ink blotchy as before. Something changed yesterday but I did nothing to resolve it. (MS Win 7 Pro, MS IE 64-bit browser).

Still have the same floating misaligned 'Group' and 'Forum' buttons overlapping the lower banner.

@Ragman,
I clicked on Compatibility View (broken-sheet-of-paper icon) in IE browser and fixed those floating buttons misalignment issues.

The response time in forums has slowed to a crawl.

@Robert Gentel,
Sorry, Robert; but I have no complaints, which (of course) doesn't mean there aren't any problems to report. Since I don't spend a lot of time posting in this forum, I wouldn't be aware of them. I just hope none of the hamsters were injured in the farming accident. Sad

To those users who were having problems with the 'Forums' and 'Groups' links in the header of the site:

I have just pushed a bugfix which I believe fixes this problem. I have tested things and they seem to be working in the following browsers for me:
IE6
IE8 (with and without compatibility mode)
FF
Safari on windows
Chrome

Let me know if anyone is still having any display issues related to those 2 links.

@Nick Ashley,
Hi Nick,

I'm currently logged in with IE8 and toggled compatibility view on and off. The alignment problems caused by compatibility view have indeed been solved.

Now going back to FF. IE, yuck!

Hmm............. When I clicked on the feedback link, I got a message that I had to join the group in order to post. When I clicked on the link to join the group, I got the box where I could post a reply.

Basically, I like the changes, and have had no problems with it, (except for the above). Love the green. There is something about green................. Laughing

That confused me at first too.
This thread is in the Groups system - as the able2know group.
It's the place to add all threads that are about issues re a2k usage - which obviously this one is a good example of.

All you have to do to register is click on register.

This is muy minor -
I decided to add art valuation as a tag to an old thread that popped up, and somehow managed to not put in the word art.

So, now there is valuation and art valuation, and I cannot get rid of the 'valuation'. Not sure if this is related to the new changes or some mess up on my end. (Safari, 10.5.8)

We need to commission Maya Lin for the obvious war memorial covering the horrible loss of hamster life over the life of the a2k forum.

@Robert Gentel,
Has anyone mentioned the lack of a proper Google search engine bar? The Forum tag search isn't really cutting it.

Plainoleme's latest thread about the marshmallow study might not have been posted if she already knew the subject was covered in a half dozen other threads. But since the Google search bar is missing from the new design trying to find old topics with the Forum tag search bar is near pointless.

@tsarstepan,
There is one, it just isn't as prominent as it used to be, if my recollection is accurate.

Take a look in the upper right corner where you click to check your private messages. See the Search link there? It navigates to a Google search bar like we used to have before the revamp.

@tsarstepan,
It's still around.... look up at the very top right of the page, next to your user name, inbox, log out, then Search.

Click on "search" and you're here:

It seems like up until the recent revamping of the A2K forum layout, we were able to remove tags we've applied to a thread by clicking the red X next to the tag.

The red x isn't active now and tags cannot be removed.

@Butrflynet,
Yes, that was what I described, and RP removed it by adding another tag after I mentioned it.
