To those who remember the old days (ten years ago), I say hello.
This site was huge for me. It was my first serious adventure in online conversation with anonymous strangers. Looking back on some of my posts, I was playing fast and loose indeed. If I was ever rude to you, you have my apology. The years have beat a little more sense into me, I hope.
I saw that I was asked after in a thread, that my absence had been noticed. That was nice. I hope that my sometimes silly and indulgent philosophy-poetry amused a few people. I probably should have listened more than I talked, but I was having so much fun.
I plan on checking in here soon and seeing if some of you are still posting.

Mon 28 Jun, 2010 02:13 am - Hi there, Gosh. Good post. I think I agree with all of that. It's somewhat tangent to what I mean by ideal precision, but it does fit into the thread well.

Thu 24 Jun, 2010 02:44 am - I've thought about concept-form-essence-being quite a bit lately, to put it mildly. And Wittgenstein, Heidegger, Hegel, Plato, Schopenhauer, Aristotle, and Kant have all put a brick in the... (view)
Wed 9 Jun, 2010 06:37 pm -
I think, for the sake of time, that I should deal with one of these, namely, form. But as I do not have a very clear understanding on even this subject, I am allowing... (view)
Wed 9 Jun, 2010 12:06 am -
One should take anecdotes about early philosophers with a grain of salt; many of these stories probably did not happen, but were invented at a later date to illustrate their... (view)
