We had a similar sort of discussion here before, about the "End Times" and how the faithful perceive it. It's more than a little sad and pathetic, (and in many ways, downright disgusting and horrifying,) that the religious want Armageddon (or whatever other version of the End Times) to happen, simply because they long for God (Christ, what-have-you,) to come down out of Heaven and prove to the whole world that hey, indeed these religious folks were telling the truth after all. What they do not understand is that a belief that is not justifed in and of itself is not justified at all.
