assumption:

some things that live think.

some things that live do not think.

View:

the mind and thought is a creation of the body to help it thrive. many creatures have minds and many creatures have evolved different means of perception. many creatures have enough perception to walk a maze and go around physical object to avoid bumping into them. all human observation tells us that human perception is close enough to the physical world to interact with it and that a lack of perception will not keep you from hitting into physical objects. all observation shows that creatures can not walk into a wall without hitting it whether they see it or not.

point:

enjoy life. if perception gets closer to the physical reality you can bet it will not come with a retrofit for the rest of us. when you die the body no longer creates the mind and things go back to the same black screen we all had for possibly an infinite time before we were born. the physical world will be here without a mind to enjoy it. the mind is a creation of the physical body and dies with it.

ponder something more useful than meta as it is at its root an unanswerable question.
