One wish for yourself? (selfish)

One wish for the world? (selfless)

What would they be?

@sometime sun,
My one wish is the same for both. I wish all people were rational.

Define 'rational' it may be more than one wish.

I don't mean anything special by the term:

@sometime sun,
My wish has been fulfilled.

No, I didn't just get a date (I'm still single).

It's just I realised that whatever I seek, I already have within me.

Italiano e' facile da imparare. Tu hanno bisogno di buono instruzioni. I have a ton of condensed notes (basically 10 pages of notes for the final exam in Italian 4) from when I learned Italian if you want them, from basic conjugation to passato prossimo con essere and avere, futuro, and imperfetto. I was honestly surprised at how irritating the language really was to learn... should have took Spanish. LOL!

As for me, one wish I would have for myself is that I win the lottery. One wish I have for the world is that eventually get better leadership.

@Reconstructo,
Hi Sun,

One wish for me :- I have none.
For the world :- I have none.

I thought on this for a while, and I wouldn't change a thing, even if things changed.
Thank you Sun, you pose good questions. Journey well.

Shouldn't it be 'Tu hai'?
I'll be done with grammar next year, Italian 3. I would love to see your notes, signore Very Happy

I was going to make my wish for better vision, but then I realized I would probably ruin it with the reading I do. Besides, I have glasses.

Do you think that it is acceptable for some other to have a wish concerning you or your world?

Could you please tell me what has brought you to such a place that makes you no longer desire anything enough to wish you could have it?

I find this utterly fascinating.

When I blow out the candles or sneeze three times my wish is always the same.
It is one word.
But I cant tell you what it is because it may not then come true.Smile

1. Perhaps to make me a better poet. Im indecisive with my wishes. Maybe a poem will clarify my desire. Ahem. Here it goes.

2. I wish upon a wishing star/
That mankind would end it all/
Toil, strife, violence, and all that mar/
Beauty that nature given to enthrall/

Upon our eyes doth we ourselves see/
All the worlds in deep calamity/
Indeed I wish for such wild things/
For mankind to bring tidings!/
Upon one another and to the world in kind/
With sincere gratitude, never repined!/

Such a wish would content mankind/
And yet, alas my dream, in great irony/
Will never be met with through the consitution of our kind/
Which nature granted to us without care and poorly/

Eh. The ending seems weak.

That I think you are a bit special and that you just proved it.

You may be more than just a bit. Please show me more.

What does special mean to you?

I hope you don't think I was judging you negatively.

Because to me special means unique, original, inspiring, beautiful, intelligent, aware, once of a life time.
And some more besides.

I had figured as such; just wanted to be sure. Unfortunately I have nothing to really bring forth at the moment. Maybe another time.
