for instance ads that tell men to buy flowers for their ladies...how many ladies want flowers killed on their behalf?
Only those women and men who put stock in the commercials that tell them flowers are romantic, are a sign of love.
Flowers represent/mean so much more than just love especially just romantic love.
They dont really want the flowers even the thought, they just dont want to be left out, they want to be what they have been told/seen they want, more about what you think of your self is worth by a poor commercialised standard posseessional than what another loves you for and a reason for the thought.
Men are usually crap at gifts as well so this gives them a standard they can live up to.
Alot of people watch those ads Salima they have come to believe brainwashed that this is a sign of love romance rather than a sign of commercialism and those brainwashed people keep alot of people in money and guilt, that is another reason women men dont really want them bought because this gives them some power over the non commital.
'why dont you buy me flowers anymore?'
'i never bought them for you in the first place'
Who really estimates love this way dosen't really know the worth of what love they probably dont have or do but dont know how to see it anymore.
Damn ads.
