Hi If you were given five wishes no matter how outrageous or impossible what would they be

There is only one wish that is forbidden, "I wish that I could have countless wishes"

I will bounce off with a few of mine

1) I wish I was omniscient (All knowing)
2) I wish I had the capability to understand all knowledge
3) I wish I knew how to use that knowledge for the benefit of humanity

I wish I had as many wishes as I want.

@Alan McDougall,
I wish that any girl I like likes me back. Very Happy
I wish that I could live a long, happy, loving life full of mental wealth and enough physical riches to allow me to live a long, happy, loving life.
I wish I had a first edition of You Can't Go Home Again.
I wish to be more patient and less quick to ire.
I wish I knew what to wish my last wish on and then be able to wish it.

xris I know what you mean but it could also mean dying, if there if there is no afterlife your wish would not be a great one

If there is an afterlife then i would not have to wish for it.If you have nothing to wish for then your content with what you have.wishing for contentment is another way of saying it.Its within all our capabilities, if we try,no need for a jinnee or a magic fairy.

What would be your benefit? If when you've exhausted all your desires, what would it give you?

No, idea. Are we negotiating?

Don't you worry about that. (Anyway, I doubt that will happen. I have a lively imagination).

Each of these would drive you insane. Very Happy

Now mine:
1. The girl
2. Money
3. Health
4. Time
5. Political stability

2. Her not leaving me
3. Money
4. Health
5. The ability to have people who annoy me assassinated
6. Political stability
7. Islam and liberalism banned (would solve all of the worlds problems)
8. A talk with a few historic individuals
9. A personal cook
10. A personal staff
But yours could contradict mine, so what should we both wish for if we are to be content? contentment?
The cook could be a closet communist and poison you, she. The girl of your dreams, might turn out to become an islamic fundamentalist with left wing attitudes. The political stability might be a communist regime. Those historic figures might just want to kill you.You get found out you have been assissinating people and you get sent to the chair. After all that your health is not important.

I don't really want contentment, I think being happy is not the purpose of life. Rather the potential for contentment, maybe.
Though I think having nothing to wish for is a good way of summing it up.

So if I wish for a cook he might poison me and if I wish for political stability that might be a communist regime?
I guess most wishes could be interpreted to be something bad. I just have to make a really detailed description before wishing them.
(If I wished for political stability from this point on a communist revolution wouldn't exactly be fulfilling that wish.)
I hope the one who interprets them won't be a jerk, making my cook poison me.

So what is the purpose of your wishes if they dont make you content with life.Whatever you wish for can have the opposite effect to your desire, turning everything to gold by touch, remember.
Its not the desires, its the acceptance that your hearts desires dont make you happy. You make yourself happy, content,it comes from you, not a magic jinnie.
