Nothing like a little bit of narcissism to bring people in, right?
Anyway, I'm a new member here (obviously), so I figured this thread was a pretty good idea. I'm 17 years old, and male. As my name would imply, I'm quite a fan of the puritans (though I admit not having read many puritan writings, I've done some research and find that their beliefs coincide with mine, for the most part.)
Some personal interests of mine include reading (Philosophy and fiction), playing video games, studying theology, and reading up on history. I don't claim to be incredibly knowledgeable in any of these areas, though. Smile
Anyway, I think that's all. Salutations, all!

@TheLonelyPuritan,
Welcome to Philforum!
Philosophy, history and religion are all important subjects and their themes run though our world like underground streams and just as importantly--- sometimes more on the surface--- through ourselves as well.
While everyone here brings to the forums different areas of knowledge and interests and different perspectives about the content of these themes, what unites this community is the untimely thought that these are important and worth contemplation and discussion.
Regards,
John
