Hi, everybody. I am Tsingson, which means I am from China. China once has a dynasty as Qin. Registering in this forum some time ago, and due to my poor English, I have been hesitant about speaking here. The forum, seem to me, is wonderful. Many themes discussed here are far-reaching and all members here are well cultivated. But, to my astonishment, who sponsor it? Government or academic circle? As I know in most cases a good forum usually has governmental background. Being somewhat paranoid is due to my recent experience in chinses forum, I suspect my philosophic manuscript has been stolen or even pirated by someone or some bloc, and this annoys me badly. I look forward to friends or help here.

Warm welcome to you tsingson! Good to see you finally post something and thank you for the compliments on the forum.

The forum is sponsored by Member donations and volunteer moderators. It has no official sponsor per say. This is not government or academic, just a bunch of good folks who discuss philosophical issues.

Please feel free to share your thoughts in discussions but this is no place to simply copy and paste your work to. These are real discussions with real people in a real community and that's the way we like to keep it.

Hope you enjoy the forums and enjoy the community. Pleased to meet you and do make yourself at home.

@tsingson,
Hi, Imnotrussian, thank your respond to this post and your curiosity.

This is an interesting world, thus there are many interesting phenomena and people, so we should not feel strange when you indeed encounter with something weird. On the contrary, when I encounter something not weird, I usually feel strange. This forum is indeed wonderful, there is no flattery or compliment here, it is just a truth. I am moved by in this restless world are there still a bunch of people keeping them still, somewhat like spiritual watchers or guardians for souls, despite of I do not know the reason exactly, but it is enough for me. the discussions proceeding here I like very much.

The reason I find this forum is indeed due to my pursuit for help beyond the sea, I wrote a book in Chinese two years ago, but I found publishing it in China is thoroughly meaningful, of course, it is also possible that it is inappropriate to do so, that means publishing it in China might be prohibited. The book in philosophic persepective involves almost all humanities, and I think it indeed give all my peers in this world a series of new horizons, despite of I am not from neither government or academic. I am a civil engineer in my real life, but I abort this identity frequently, for my genuine interesting is in thingking, just thinking could make me calm. Now, I have aborted my make-living work for a whole year once again, and I am trying hard to translate our book from Chinese into English, but it is terrible for me, for the book consists of 6oo thousand chinese characters, with a addition of my poor English, thus an arduous task.

I first post a part of it in chinese forum,to be fair, at the beginning many people gave me many encouragements, but from the end of last year situation deteriorated abrupty, they hinted me they had get my whole manuscript and humiliate it in various ways collectively, leaving me dumbfounded, someone saying that' in this world there is never any truth, we would crack down anyone who claims he has gotten the truth.'

Certainly, I suspect they also made some ambiguous accesses for me to approach them, but this excite anger in me more, I don't know where they are from exactly, though I hate these dishonorable conducts.

Due to possible pirates of reading out of motive unknown, I have to modify my book originally in Chinese again in English, and it is extremely painful for me.

Now, a real weird man before you, enjoy the world and my narrative.

@tsingson,
Welcome to Philforum.
I can well imagine that your political situation may make publishing any independent philosophy both difficult and dangerous, at least for the moment. And I can also imagine that translating your thinking to English, a second language, presents immense difficulties.

Within reason and the limits of courtesy, this forum and its community accepts a wide range of ideas, comments, and positions because it is only through their dialogue that we reach understanding.

Should you wish to present some of your ideas, you can trust our Members to be considerate. They may indeed challenge your ideas, or help you with your choice of English expressions, but they will respect your efforts.
Regards,
John
