Hello, and thank you all in advance for allowing me the honour of meeting you.
My name is Charles, and I am here (with the help of my grandson) to get closer to the youth of today. I am hardly one to be a victim of the cliche, but through mere observation it is easier than ever now to deduce that not many are paying attention to what is important in life. People of your generation imagine themselves to be more intelligent than those of mine, and they are right. But intelligence smothers wisdom. As you get older, your conscience will bring you to terms with what is goodness in life, and what can only end up making you feel terrible. And you will realise what matters, if it is only moments before your death. And you shall reach the same conclusions about the generations following yours as I have reached in regards to your own, and perhaps they too will not listen to you as you protest against their clouded view of virtue. But it is my hope that people will at some stage take heed of their real value in life, and throw away their seflish desires in favour of selfless service to humanity. That is my hope, and that is why I am here.

@CS Haszard,
Good luck.
And welcome to the forum. Glad to have you join.
@CS Haszard,
It seems your grandson is a chip off the old block. Hugs are in order here. From the wisdom of your words a hearty welcome and I am looking forward to knowing what is on your mind, as we all are. Enjoy your stay.
William
@William,
S'alright Marhaban, I'm getting old as well, I found myself on my porch the other morning yelling at kids to get off my lawn. I hope you find this place stimulating.
Cheers and Welcome,
Russ
