Howdy. As with most new members, I figured I'd introduce myself.
I studied at the University of King's College up in Halifax, NS, which is pretty heavily oriented towards philosophy. Since the school year ended I figured I'd keep the discussion going by checking out what you guys have to say. I warn that my main professor this year is a thoroughbred Hegelian, so I'm biased in that direction.
Like most philosophy students, I like Kierkegaard, mostly because in addition to being a great thinker, he can actually write an interesting sentence. But that's totally peripheral.
Anyway, see you around.
@Clockwork,
yes an interesting sentence doesn't happen so much with hegel.
cheers and welcome,
Russ
