Allright, hows it goin?

I'm not a philosopher to trade and nor am I studying it at uni, I'm just ready things on it to try and improve my own logic.

im a project worker- i help people who've had chaotic lifes but are now stable and want get back to work but face barriers, i help break those barriers. what do you do?

Physics. It's allright, can be quite hectic if you have alot of exams though. Luckily this semester I've only got 2 and they're 2 weeks apart!

Wow interesting, i dont know alot about physics but i'd love too, i promised myself i would read physics i dont know any, i know about the bare basics but i'd love to know more.
I love Aristotle, Socrates and Plato in that order. But i dont know alot about it all, i read a bit of everything Smile

I always want to scrutinise anything that's happened at the time and old stuff i come across, i always question the unknown in no matter what context,eg.the world my life, people, universe whatever.
How about you?

Just people seem to criticise religion saying its nonsense and illogical but they never actually give a good reason. So im trying to get to the roots of it.

yeah you'd have to ask them, i dont critisise it unless they try to convert me??????

I do criticise some religions, i do criticise some of the way the eastern religions treat their women but that's because it's hard for me because im a woman but iwouldnt criticise it openly, i have asian friends and not only is not respecetful but not all people are like that and i think i would help if they asked but other that that i try to treat people and their beliefs with respect.

Ultimately I'm not a die hard christian but i'm definately leaning that way... and I think militant atheism is very weak indead... normal atheism is fine... but the militant strand i have some issues with.

Why do they have to destroy religion etc, even if they believe in that science, why do they want to change the world if religion is not harming anybody?

That's my point exactly... Richard Dawkins claiming that Atheism is tolerant, which it is, and then referring to religion as parasite in need of extermination... doesnt sound very tolerant to me... scary talk... I think the world could do without his militant atheism.
