@Echelon,
Welcome to the philosophy forums Echelon! As I have been known to say, philosophy is not about knowing who said what, it is about knowing good ideas. Some people get too caught up in learning what others said, but if the ideas are bad, and you gain nothing out of studying them, then what's the point. Not to mention bad ideas tend to perpetuate by appealing to our gut instincts.
But anyway, have fun learning (by the way the worst teacher is one who has forgotten how to learn) in your future dialogues. Let me know if you want to discuss the Republic when you get to it. I focus on ancient Greek philosophy (mostly Plato and Nicomachean Ethics by Aristotle) so I have some insights you may be interested in.
