Just exploring some new forums and this one struck me as interesting.
I'm a married mom of two toddlers, currently getting my general eds online for nursing school. I'm usually pretty busy but on Cmas break.
I thought my advisor would suggest a philosophy class this semester, but she went another route. I'm looking forward to taking that class in the future. This subject has been just a hobby, through reading, for many years.

Specifically...the initial feel when I arrived here from a google search. The colors are warm. I like the title and sub titles. And a quick scan of sections looked interesting.

I think that once you get to know our Members, you will also enjoy the kindness and courtesy with which we discuss various ideas and positions, a tone that sets this forum apart from many such, perhaps because our Members tend to approach issues from a philosophical viewpoint.
