It is nice to be able to see the light at the end of tunnel when the tunnel is a large chunk of your life. I hope your topic is approved and you can get on with it.

Actually, my topoic has been approved and I finished the whole dissertation, but the judges haven't read it yet (or haven't finished, secretary won't fill me in :-P)

Welcome to the forums, can't wait to read your contributions. And also I wouldn't mind hearing your thoughts on the atheists meaning of life regardless of approved or not once its done being through the whole process stuff and that. I am dying to know what the meaning to my life is.
I'm actually rewriting the whole thing now for the "broad public" - those who don't necessarily have a philosophical background (I intended to merely "edit" it, but apparently it takes a rewriting for this purpose; so many lengthy fine details)... :-)
