Hello,
I'm studying philosophy in Italy and I'm in my last year. I'm preparing my final paper on Wittgenstein and I hope to find some help around here. Sorry if my English is not always correct:bigsmile:.

@korova,
Buona sera signor(ina) ;-) . I'm a faculty librarian with quite some resources at his fingertips. Contact me when you have exhausted your local ones.

@korova,
Wittgenstein is certainly an interesting and, I am coming to believe, one of the more important philosophers of the last century. Good luck on your paper, and, of course, welcome to the PhilosophyForum.
Regards,
John

@jgweed,
Thank you for the offer, but I don't really need any books cause my paper has to be ready in February so i have to hurry up a little bit.(universities in Italy have a strange system:)).

I would rather like to discuss with someone that has studied authors like Alexander Maslow, Erik Stenius and Hintikka cause there are some things that I didn't really manage to understand. Is there anyone around here that knows something about these authors, maybe studied them at school?

Wittgenstein is a great philosopher but understanding him can be really complicated...:bigsmile:

@korova,
Hi im new today too. My girlfriend is Italian. I gave her a book called Wittengenstien's poker.
Do you think philosophy is being replaced by semantics?
O, about me in general. I used to have a lot of new and valid ideas in undergraduate school. I am now accepting mental disability but thought I might test the water's.
My favorite topic right now would be neural networks with regard to cartesian dualism
