Hi everyone!
Alright, so I must confess (and apologize) for not posting on here sooner as I've, if anything, 'lurked' a bit in only reading some of the posts. My simple excuse is that time seems to escape me these days
. With that I'm looking forward to meeting new people. I'm currently an undergrad at Idaho State University, majoring in Philosophy. It is my goal to go on to grad school, but as to what school and 'branch' of philosophy I have yet to decide. From what I've read so far I enjoy the platonic dialogs. I'm currently taking a course in Greek Reasoning, Logic, and Philosophy of Terrorism and War. I'm interested in learning more about Continental philosophy (Kant, Hegel, and Nietzsche) And the more pragmatic, American philosophies of Charles Peirce and William James. I'm very interested in learning more about Existentialism. I'm not a "subject matter expert" in anything. If anything, I'm a student of life and trying to make some sense of just what, exactly, this life is.
Respectfully,
~P
