Hi, my name is Preston aka musicman1. I joined because i have things to share with all of you and i know all of you have things to share with me. In this way we all become more whole.

This is an untitled poem of mine, Id like it to be my first post on this site.


Is it not to late for me.
I hope it so.
Because i thought never to be free.
That dreams of a madman would for all time persist.
Yet at long last escape has come to me, so no.
No spector, I need not your assist.
I need only to try.
As this blood runs from my broken body.
Escaping as if it too is alive.

Let my pain die first.
As this blood runs, let my weary eyes die too.
As this blood runs, let my sight return anew.
As it tosses and turns and drips,
It burns.
It melts away the cold.
As it pours and pools so red and so bold.
I rise now and curse.
I rise now in birth.
