If you have technical questions about using the forum, there are Help files that should answer most of your questions, or you can certainly post a question (the best place would be in the site feedback and suggestions where it would be read by the staff) about a specific problem.

I have always found that the best way to get to know people in a forum is to begin to post. You will, through discussion, find "kindred spirits" and you can always further your association by meeting them in Chat.

Another way is to take some time and fill out your Profile, especially the section called "about me." This helps other Members to get a thumbnail idea of who you are.
