Hey guys, I'm new to the forum, and also new to the formal study of philosophy, though I've pondered related idea for a long time. Anyway, I think it's great to find people with similar interests; I wouldn't want to restrict my learning to what is assigned to me in class. Alright... what else should I say? I'm currently a student of mathematics, philosophy, and psychology at a university, and I'm hoping to expand my learning horizons and share some of my own ideas and get feedback on them. I look forward to my future on this forum.
@Mathematicaverde,
Welcome to the Philforums. One way to learn philosophy is to
do philosophy, even if only presenting a very limited position or discussing and commenting in the forums here.
Regards,
John
@jgweed,
Welcome mathematicaverde!
Though you may not encounter much in the form of formal philosophy, I think you will enjoy the forum and the philosophical community here in general.
Have a blast!
