Just introducing myself, I'm shatter and I'm interested in Philosophy. At this point in time I'm fourteen and will mostly be reading through the posts to get an idea of what it is and how to reply. I hope to meet some nice people on here.
Hi Shatter:
A good introduction to philosophy can be found if you do a search for "King's college philosophy without any gaps podcasts."
I highly recommend this for everyone. Had this been around when I was in my late teens I would have been listening to these podcasts from early morning till late at night. It begins with classical Greek philosophers, and goes one philosopher, more or less, at a time. It should take you at least a year to get through all of the podcasts. But afterwards, you'll have more information and understanding than most people who study philosophy.
Ever get stuck on Kant's critical philosophy throw my a query.
