David Hume believed that the idea of a self is just an idea of bundle, he believed in the Bundle Theory that the Self is made out of interconnected perceptions linked by similar particles, for example when we think of apple we think of its color, shape and the fact that its a fruit.

Plato view on the personal identity and what makes who we are is that we all have the same soul(?), there really is no god because we all have the same soul (?), but each of our bodies only allow us to access different facets of that soul (?).

I'm kinda confused how these two men's view on the personal identity and what makes who we are compare.

@Alexis phil,
Hume believed a divine entity was true but we perceived things as each bundle. Plato thought that because we all share souls, there is not divine entity.
