Yeah, I see why you said it is discouraging. When you said "what does it matter" I thought you mean who cares. That is why my answers were snobbish. But now I understand it and that is why I brought up the would you accept the false reality because it's better than the truth (cypher's case in the matrix). Until we unlock more secrets of the brain I agree that this is a very limiting theory. I will still read up though just to expand my knowledge!
