I was curious how Augustine's perception of the experience and relationship to the divine compares and contrasts to the experience of God described by these philosophers: Socrates, Sappho, Plato, Aristotle, Epicurus, Hadewijch, Minne, Kant, and Teresa of Avila.

I would appreciate any insight whatsoever, whether anyone has views regarding one philosopher or all of them.
