but can that be a lie since a lie can be a lie and the truth can be a lie cause lies can be a lie so a lie is a lie when a lie becomes a lie is it a lie when u lie or just a lie

@weezy phil,
There is such a thing as 'cancelling out'. You know, (2)(6) / (2)(4). Instead of saying that fluff, one could say 6/4. I think this concept applies well to your last statement.

@weezy phil,
Multiplied by a thousand. Smile

A lie can be a lie. Actually, it takes one lie to cover another. Imagine a snowball rolling down a mountain and gathering more snow and getting larger as it rolls. This is a lie. One lie attracts another lie just as the snowball attracts the snow. The mountain of lies however, doesn't have a bottom it just slows down and speeds up.

So technically speaking, a lie is a lie is a lie is a lie.......

The question that we ought to ask ourselves is, can a lie become a truth?

@Justin,
Is not a lie the attempted negation of truth?:rolleyes: Truth can be as constant as experience, the lie has no such foundation but, it must know the truth before it can be lie.

@weezy phil,
if i see someone about to walk over a cliff
and i say

"you're going to fall!"

and he stops, and does not fall,

did I lie?

@Poseidon,
Depends - "you're going to fall" if what? If he walks over the cliff? Then you did not lie. No matter what he does, he is going to fall - well, he will probably take a spill at some future time.

@weezy phil,
Its all about set theory.
(A lie is a lie) is the truth

In positivist terms:
(x+y) = z
