they fear the unknown. also they don't like all the small coins filling up their pocket.


it shouldn't, change is inevitable and natural and saying whatever happens as a result of the "change" is "good" or "bad" is putting arbitrary values on things.

change always comes in handy because rarely is the price an exact dollar amount. it is also great for parking meters.

Change is scary because it implies that differences are going to take place.
Differences are divided into two categories: better and worse.
Change is therefore risky as one may end up on the worse side of things.
