What is love?

There are biochemical answers. There are physiological answers. There are psychological answers. There are physical answers. There are emotional answers. There are personal answers. And then there are philosophical answers. Like this one:

I've never really asked what love is, but it seems like it's everywhere - in talking with friends, in movies, in TV shows etc. You hear people say "I love you." But seriously, if it's so common and real, what is it?
