Pleasure.
I find it pleasureable to be here on the forum and thought i would try to expose the conditions and conditioning of what pleasure is,
so i know i am not wasting my time.
What is pleasure? for? against? active? inertia?
Is pleasure a reaction?
How important is pleasure?
(What does it contribute?)
Is pleasure necessary?
Is pleasure productive?
Do we choose what pleasures us?
Are our pleasures connected to our humors?
Do we have control over our preferences for pleasure?
Are there classes of pleasure?
(Are there 'the pleasures'?)
Is our pleasure an opposition to displeasure?
(Do we feel pleasured by what is not hurting us?)
Why is pleasure personal and preference over public and standard?
(why are my pleasures different from theirs?)
Does pleasure need a climax?
(does pleasure need a conclusion or reason?)
(does pleasure contribute?)
How do we control our pleasure?
Does our pleasure need to be controlled?
Does our pleasure ultimately control us?
Is pleasure our reason for being?
Is our reason for being to not be displeasured?
Do philosophers find philosophy pleasure-able?
Are we better at something if we find it pleasure-able?
Is pleasure bad for us?
What are the rewards and punishments of pleasure?
(What is pleasure good or bad for?)
Are we not at our best when we are a pleasure to others?
Should our goal in life be to be a source of pleasure?
Is the opposite of pleasure pain?
What lies inbetween?
Do you find me a pleasure or a pain?
(And if i am pleasured how important is their pain?)
*please answer one, some or all*
@sometime sun,
Pleasure is food to a starving man and is vomit to a glutton... It is a moral form, and every definition will inevitably be subjective...With that said: It has been a pleasure...
