Do any of you refrain from posting something, because it's just too difficult to explain all its little intricacies?

@chad3006,
I sucked the stem of a dandelion today; It tasted horrible. I could post a thread about it, and it could inspire discussion. But that's not likely.

I often resist the urge to create a thread because some questions are better answered by the powers of the omnipresent google.

@chad3006,
Sometimes I don't post if I don't feel I can do it justice. Other times I just take a stab at it, depends on my mood.

@Jebediah,
I dont give a crap, (when really i do)
if it intersets me it might interest someone else and usually does at least one other.
Besides what is this forum for if not to complete an unfinshed symphony?
I see you all as my equals and my superiors,
you ought do the work i dont know how,
or at least show me how it is to be done.
At least one might even compliment it.
At least one might atempt an answer,
or bless the correction.

@chad3006,
If you think that, then it is likely that:

a. You really do not have to explain all the little intricacies in order to explain it so that it will be understood well enough or,
b. You do not understand it enough to explain it.

Why would that be? Especially if you could not do it.

No, of course not. I haven't tried to jump 200 feet into the air. Why did you ask?

@sometime sun,
Sadly there are many threads and ideas and philosophies and groups and clubs i dont start because i am at a loss as to whether they will be given the light they earn.
In other words i am not sure of your correction or partisipation and dont want the idea to go down the drain before i have a chance to savor or digest it.
There is alot more left uninvestigated by me than you may think.
But then again i am only just getting started.

Why did i ask 'you only know you cant do something by not doing it?'
Or
Why do i ask?

I was wondering why you asked the question whether one can know he cannot do something only by trying to do it and failing. Since it is obvious that the answer to that question is no.

So you are asking me why i asked a question that to your mind has an obvious answer?

And i think what i asked was why people fail is that they dont even try.

'You only know you cant do something by NOT doing it?'
Think about it a little further,
it does not even necessarily have anything to do with an atempt.

Have you ever tried to jump 200 ft in the air?

Or before you give up on the chance ask others to see if they know how it COULD be done.

Who is your audience? What are your expectations? What do you hope to accomplish?

Did you set your expectations too high? :sarcastic:

I often fail to make a thread because I can't translate essential words from danish to english.

I do agree with you that getting the semantics of a different language into the syntax of another do not translate well and would be difficult to do so if not well versed in both.
