Is there anyone out there who knows roughly how much water an average tree growing in a rainforest can hold onto? Being from the UK, I don't have much knowledge of tropical species but let's call this tree an 80m hardwood variety.
Thanks for looking.

Is this a philosophical question? Sounds like to me it is some kind of homework. Something that the google button can fix I'm sure. What exactly is the point of this question?
