I keep failing,
My bread just wont rise and this comes from someone who rarely buys their own standard loaf and knows the ins and outs of using yeast in their daily bread, you dont use yeast in cronbread, or is this something that could be of better use when making cornbread?
It is the cornmeal, my bread just wont rise.
Anyone got a tried and tested LIGHT and FLUFFY Cornbread recipe?
Please before winter ends and i wont be able to justify the carbs.

@sometime sun,
I was raised in the Deep South (U.S.), so I sent you a recipe by PM. Hope that was OK.

More than OK, thank you and will try your recipe when i can get some buttermilk, now i just need a refried beans and pigsfeet recipe to fill my southern appetite. My butterbean suprise is excellent, the suprise is that butterbeans are delicious. My chicken could use some southern know-how.
And i heard always when making cornbread a cast-iron cooking vessel makes for the best bread for those who dare to be filled to southern capacity.Smile
Thank you again.
