like something out of the 1984 novel
there are cameras everywhere in my city, houston tx usa
Every stop light and street corner has a camera on it
What are we becoming?

It's called "a surveillance society" and Britain already has it!

Those cameras are there to catch traffic violators.

Besides, what's so wrong with maximizing productivity?
