I took this picture in a park this spring.
What do you think this message is about?
Loving what?
Loving whom?
Do we ever love?
Do we ever stop?

@Neshama,
When I see this I see a sign that we should never stop loving. Loving whom? I'm not to sure, but it can be a warning that if we do stop loving then bad things can happen. When people stop loving and caring about other people we will constantly be at war with ourselves and with others. Think about the war in Iraq. This all started with people not loving other people and excepting them, this is a problem that is slowly getting worse over the years. May love and hope be with you.

@Neshama,
The essence of love is truth, wisdom, compassion, freedom, and joy. When all of these things are brought together we experience peace, which is the fruit of love. Secondly love cannot be hoarded, it is a codependent experience . When one has love one gives love on some level, be it conscious or subconscious. Because the co-conscious experience of love can occur in this way, when one stops loving, everyone suffers. And since god is love we could call this hell. But when one dose love, then everyone gains regardless of what the object of love is. When one feels true love, (which is transcendental and non-discriminating and is not necessarily the love from the story books) the seed of love is planted, and with proper environment the seed begins to grow, and as such love grows. So never stop loving and love will abide. God is love so the way to Christs return is through universal love.

@vajrasattva,
When we stop loving, we stop living. Whoever wrote that admonition has probably seen what many of us have seen--a world in which the dead bury their dead, a world in which the dead walk and talk and seem to be alive, but deep down inside, are hollow. Christ appears when we demonstrate love; but if God is love, then we must strive to be like God--or perhaps even be in God, or as God. How much, then, do we really love?

@Neshama,
Isn't it heartwarming to see people deface public property with a positive message for once.

Perhaps loving nature as the power poll is made of wood, the person who wrote this may have been refering to loving the earth and by chopping all the trees, we are not loving the earth.

To whome? All things?

Do we ever love? Yes i believe we love, love for all being is natural. But diffacult to obtain.

Do we ever stop? Maybe to an extent when we are exposed to too much evil?

@Ali phil,
It looks like it is a phone or electrical pole, so maybe they were trying to send this message out on all frquencies.

Never stop loving.
Never start hating.

I remember a wall that was painted with the words;
Stop doing start being
so i wrote underneath,
Stop knowing start learning

Another wall was written;
What if this is hell?
i wrote,
What if this is heaven?

@Neshama,
I drew a purple snake on a telephone pole once.

What if we did stop loving?

What if we did stop loving?

We would not be able to start anything new.
Love rebirths the world.
