Here is a little song that helped me get through the night the other day. It helped me so I thought: 'maybe it'll help somebody else?'. So I will post it here.

It's zipped. Suicide is Painless

Here are some of the lyrics:

Through early morning fog I see
visions of the things to be
the pains that are withheld for me
I realize and I can see...

That suicide is painless
it brings on many changes
and I can take or leave it if I please.

The game of life is hard to play
I'm gonna lose it anyway
the losing card I'll someday lay
so this is all I have to say

Suicide is painless
it brings on many changes
and I can take or leave it if I please.

The only way to win is cheat
and lay it down before I'm beat
and to another give my seat
for that's the only painless feat

.

The sword of time will pierce our skins
it doesn't hurt when it begins
but as it works its way on in
the pain grows stronger...watch it grin but...

Suicide is painless
it brings on many changes
and I can take or leave it if I please.

A brave man once requested me
to answer questions that are key
is it to be or not to be
and I replied 'oh why ask me?'

'Cause suicide is painless
it brings on many changes
and I can take or leave it if I please
...and you can do the same thing if you please.

written by Johnny Mandel (music) and Mike Altman (lyrics), which is mostly known for being featured in both the movie and TV Series M*A*S*H.

@Pythagorean,
You cannot win infinitely and beyond infinity you cannot win.

@Pythagorean,
Hi Pythagorean

Suicide is the result of unimaginable mental pain , in my case that is. But there was an upside it made me reexamine my life and I had a beautiful near death experiences as well and also know that committing suicide will not lead you into hell

@Pythagorean,
Everthing you could ever want is inside infinity, why try to go beyond it? Smile

I think life is a game where you cannot win nor lose, just have fun. I decided that the odds indicated it was better to live than die, since I will eventually die anyway. Its like an arcade game: Why die now, if you can fight the endless waves of enemies until they superate and kill you? Smile

@Pythagorean,
The only time I ever wanted to kill myself was to rid all of the questions about life the scurried through my head. And finally find out what is really going on. I realized that it was jumping ahead. It is like cheating on all your test through out the school year, and not being able to cheat on the final. You got out of the BS sooner but you did not learn anything and failed the final test.

@Pythagorean,
There is also the little detail that if you dont believe in life after dead you never get to know the answer by dying, and if there is life after dead then you have to discover the purpose of that life Smile

@Pythagorean,
Suicide may be painless to oneself, but not to others.

@Pythagorean,
Old song is old. This was the theme of MASH and Marilyn Manson did a sweet remix of it. The song is interesting and I like some of the lyrics, but others I adamently disagree with, like the overall theme.
