Ahh, it's nice to find a place to talk some philosophy. I had a stint on the Mises.org forums, but the discussions I wanted to have seemed more philosophically fundamental than most being held on that forum, which (as you could imagine) mainly concentrated on economics, political science, and punditry from the Austrian School's perspective.
Philisophically, I guess I'd be considered an anti-foundationalist, or maybe a radical skeptic, or a Stirnerite Egoist. I'm also influenced by neo-shamanic psychedelic mysticism, and Buddhist (dzogchen) non-dualism.
I hope to carry Stirner's concept of dissolving "fixed ideas" to it's logical conclusion, the dissolution of the ego itself, to return to what he himself describes as "the creative nothing", or what Buddhist describe as the "Clear Light of Pure Consciousness".
Of course, that could all be hogwash, and I'm here to continually challenge my beliefs, to see if there are any other doctrines out there that make more sense to me.

Jack
@apehead,
Welcome to Philforum!
I suspect that very few Members are acquainted with Stirner and hope that you will add the common stock of knowledge here as you introduce his positions to the community, as well as draw from the many different perspectives Members hold or at least have some knowledge about.
Welcome to Philforum!
Regards,
John
@jgweed,
Some day you will have to explain to me what a "Stirnerite Egoist" is. but until then,
Cheers and Welcome,
Russ
@apehead,
Welcome to the forum. I've always been somewhat interested in Max Stirner despite not knowing too much of his work. I'm especially interested in his views on anarchism and egoism. Anyway, glad to have you join and I hope to discuss with you somewhere in the forum.
