Well, there are two ways you can learn here. First you can read many of the "philosophical" threads; you should be able to recognise the serious posts from the drivel. Second, you can participate in the discussions with a goal of articulating your own thinking or knowledge; this activity will not only clarify your own perspectives and positions, but allow you to practice thinking.
