To Members of the Philosophy Forum:

The name is Christopher Michael Speciale
My Good-side Demon: David Tarr
My Dark-side Demon: Jonathon Kono
demon stuff ^^.... LONG story. join me later??

Turns out, I've been missing out on some awesome philosophical conversations from this forum! I became a philosopher in the early 8th grade and have been on a quest for wisdom ever since. My reason: Simply so I may understand life (particularly social life) better because I do not want to hurt people. My greatest weakness, I've found, is my friendship and people in general. I fear for whether or not my next actions will be for the better of the family and friends I know, as well as knowing how to make a positive impact on the community around me, and how to refrain from harming anyone or causing negative results of my actions. This will always be my weakness, and I don't dare change it--but rather defend myself in any way I can. And I found that the best way is through philosophy: get a better understanding of people.

However, I'm also a scientist, and I'll probrably spend most of my time in any scientific philosophical threads. Very Happy But I'm also only a high schooler, so I don't know too much. I'm teaching myself astronomy and physics, and I've already taken a few science classes at my school--but I still don't know much.

So! My philosophical fields: Social, Scientific, and last... Spiritual. HEY! Triple S! Kinda cool, with how my last name is Speciale! Very Happy
Anyway, Spiritual Philosophy. And by spiritual I mean like... a combination of Philosophy of the Mind, and Theosophy (sp? --theosofy?). I'm like Chaplin (hense the avatar... he's my HERO, btw), I'm Agnostic. But that's not my set religion. In fact I have NO set religion, it may change daily, weekly, monthly, annually, etc. But, I do currently have my own personally outlook on "God."
Attention: I limit myself to how much religious debates I take place in. I tend to get out of hand. I like to give people something to think about, I don't like telling them what to think. And when I get out of hand I... start telling them. X)

Meaning of the title of this topic? Um... it simply says that I like to look through the minds of everyone. My mind works in agreement with millions others that influence me in my every-day behavior so... that's it.

If I can't already find one, I'd like to start a thread in one of the forums on the topic of evil. Which is why I came here, to start by introducing myself. You may call me by whatever you want--all my friends give me a different nickname--like... each friend has their own made-up name for me--and I'll go by anything. Whatever floats your boat.

Well... I think that's it for my introduction. I certainly hope I get to meet some awesome philosophers on this site. Till then, I'll be seeing ya.
Love yew! Very Happy

@Space phil,
There is no better way to find one's own way than by absorbing (both in a positive and in a negative sense) the perspectives of Others, even if this involves for a time self-contradictions in one's thinking---a necessary process at times.
Welcome to Philforum!
Regards,
John
