Greetings! I'm a brand new member here, hailing from Vancouver, BC. I have a background in English Lit and am interested in the philosophical branch of humanities -- in particular, the history of the philosophy of mind and modern hermeneutics. I'm currently wading my way through Heidgegger's Being and Time and would appreciate suggestions for what to read next. Looking forward to getting to know you...

@hexalyn,
After you finish B&T, read Heidegger's What is called Thinking?. An interesting study is Palmer's Hemeneutics (Northwestern, 1969), if you have not already read it.
Welcome to Philforum!

John
