Hello everyone. I'm a philosophy student at Oxford. I just finished a course on the philosophy of mind and found it very interesting. I joined these forums to discuss philosophy with others and hopefully get some new ideas.

Isn't all philosophy, philosophy of mind? I don't see how we can ever escape mind being the ultimate producer of reality. If it is not the producer it definitely is a filter then. If it is a filter then by all means it influences all philosophy. Interesting to hear your thoughts on the philosophy of mind.

All there are are old ideas, and you have to refashion them in ways meaningful to you...

Do Oxes still ford the river there, and is there still a bridge on the Cam???
