Hey Chloe; do you have a mind??? To me it is an abstraction, a sort of moral form... If I were to take Occam's razor to your mind, and excise it from your brain; do you think you would think any differently??? You have to notice the extremes of cant you can find at this site, and at many sites..What it is, is this terrible tendency people have and share, to cloud up their judgements talking about things not proved as though they exist...A brain is a brain, no better than the use to which it is put... Some people use theirs to keep the ears apart...I use mine as a pinch bar...In any event I try not to confound thought with all these specious entitites like mind, ego, id, psyche, and ad noseum...People want a seat for their consciousness, but what if their consciousness has its own pedistal??? They cannot prove consciousness as a thing, but they want to rest it in the mind...It is just nonsense; stupid talk, cant... After a while talking to these too smart to be believed philosophers gets to be a lot like work...
