So I'm new to the forums and the scholastic study of philosophy. I just finished my first semester of my freshman year of college and have decided to double major in anthropology and philosophy. I'm a pretty liberal person and an avid practitioner of Buddhism. I look forward to some pretty interesting conversations in my future
Anthropology and philosophy seem a very good fit for study, but you may find a preference for one over the other as you continue. I am sure you will find many of the threads here interesting from either point of view.
