Where do I start? I love philosophy, I think it is probably one of the most important fields of study in society.
I am starting a double degree next year in Law and Commerce, unfortunately there is no room for any philosophy papers in the year ahead despite my overwhelming desire to study the subject. So instead I have come here in the hope to learn and absorb as much philosophy as I can - it should be noted I have browsed this forum for several months as a guest and so I am familiar with the main posters on this forum.
I currently study Cambridge Thinking Skills as one of my subjects at school which is basically a diluted and somewhat basic version of philosophical logic. Nonetheless it does teach you to question just about everything and think outside the square.
Anyway, thats my long and boring post - hopefully I'm eliminated as a spammer now.
I look forward to reading and discussing anything and everything in the future. I feel quite privilaged to of found this forum - as there are not many places on the internet where you find this number of academics who are willing to share their knowledge and wisdom with others.
