Can someone please tell me where I can buy The Story of Davidito? Even if I have to buy it online. Please let me know.

I seriously doubt that you will find a copy for sale.

So there is no way I could ever read the story in it's entirety? Do you know why it would be so hard to find one?

At some point, we may add page scans of the entire book (with certain pages partially censored) to our archives. We do not currently have a copy so it will be awhile before this is done. Even if we obtain a copy, it wil be a lot of work to scan and archive the book (and the earlier publications it was based on, some of which we have but are not yet scanned) and thus take some time.

The primary reasons why this book is hard to find are:

1. Some pages of the book contain child pornography. It was illegal and criminal for the Family to produce, publish it and distribute those pages to its members.

2. In the late 1980s, the Family began systematically destroying evidence (including the Davidito book) that proved it had produced child pornography at the direction of the organization's leaders and practiced and promoted adult-child sexual contact or child sexual abuse. As part of this purge of evidence of criminal child sexual abuse, child porn production , publication and distribution. most copies of the book were burned or otherwise destroyed.

3. Most of the few copies still in existence have been given to law enforcement agencies for investigation. Only a few have been permanently retained as evidence by other parties.

At one point a book store owner here in Portland, OR who had brief affiliations with TF/COG had a fairly impressive collection of old COG books including The Davidito Book. When I last saw him (8 yrs ago) he was selling them for over $500 a pop on ebay.
