While browsing in a used book store recently I came across River Phoenix: A short life. The book is listed in the publications section of the page devoted to him on this site. Chapter 1 of that book details his life in TF. If you would like to add that chapter, which is approximately 6 pages, I can easily scan it for you and post it here.
