Family Stats... and Activated members
I remember that since "Activated" magazine subscribers were supposed to be our "church of believers"... but not yet "strong" enough to "drop out"... they were counted in the stats as well... but of course not included in the "FD" (previous CMers), or "MM-Missionary Memember" or "FM - Fellow Member" catagory.
So if they wanted to pad the stats... all they have to do is add on the Activated magazine subscribers.
Funny thing, though... it was US Family members who PAID for most of the subsriber's subscriptions! We had to try to "wet their appitite" for the magazine. We offered little "gifts" if they supscribed... like a Family quote calender (called Mottos for Success) or a CD or something.
Most people didn't re-subscribe... hmmm, I wonder why?
