It's hardly surprising that David Berg would blame the people of Haiti themselves for their poverty and suffering, asserting that it was because they were "evil". This was a person who, among many other things, likened himself to a fascist dictator (Spain's Franco, who he referred to as a "benign dictator") stating that both he and Franco were treated unfairly and people were trying to get rid of them. He lasted a lot longer than Franco - we've already seen some of the consequences.
