RISE International Lost Children Memorial Day
On August 10, 2008 RISE International, Safe Passage Foundation and United Youth Action for Progress (UYAP) held a worldwide memorial day to commemorate the deaths of children and adults born and/or raised in cults. Memorial events took place in London (UK), Huntington Beach (California, USA) and Gulu (Uganda).

E! Entertainment was also present at the Huntington Beach event to shoot video footage for a documentary about cults (which will include a 20-minute segment about The Family/Children of God) which they plan to broadcast in September 2008.
