"New Worlds To Conquer" Cassette
hi folks!
i'm desperately looking for a record called "new worlds to conquer". my mother has a music cassette by that name, but it's quite old and doesn't work properly anymore. as a surprise, i wanted to get her a new one, but i couldn't find anything about it anywhere. there is not much information on the cassette itself, besides the title, the tracklist and an old address in geneva (something with "heaven's magic").
by chance, i came across the xfamily webpage. there was no information on this specific record, either, but i downloaded the xfamily songbook and found all the songs from the album in the list. now i'm hoping that somebody from the community can help me finding a copy of the record - whether on a cassette, cd or as mp3-files doesn't matter!

thanks in advance!!

You can contact The Family directly at [email protected]. The Heaven's Magic tapes were produced and sold exclusively by members of The Family. They will be able to point you in the right direction.

The Family stopped producing that particluar album many years ago, but they may still have a few copies in storage.

That said, you may want to be aware of what andwho you are supporting by purchasing this album.

When I was in The Family, I used to live in Switzerland and recall going door-to-door selling that cassette in apartments and small businesses. I was a kid (age 10 to 13) and should otherwise have been in school.

Thanks WalkerJ, I'll probably try that.
I somewhat tried to keep with the strategy "what you don't know won't hurt you" regarding the background of the music. Following your suggestion, however, I read some of the articles on the Family page.
I didn't expect the ideology and the customs of the Family to be in accordance with mine, which proved true. But on the other hand, selling music tapes is at least a means of fundraising that I can support without infringing my principles... But I'm not completely done thinking about whether or not to buy the tape (provided that a possibility would show up).

Anyhow, thanks again for the post!
