Leocon, you say we should stop grumbling about the Family International’s past. Here is a brief list (not comprehensive) of things that are wrong with the Family right now. If TFI corrects everything on this list, I will never utter another negative word about them:
1. Many older children in TFI continue to be denied an appropriate basic education, due to TFI’s policies against children attending public school. The average 18 year old in TFI does not have a high-school equivalent education.
2. Inappropriate material is included in TFI’s official school curriculum, such as “Astronomical Fakeryâ€

Excellent, Jered! Satisfy all eight of those requirements and I'd have no problem with what TF does either! And there is no reason why they couldn't do all those things and still serve God just as well, if not better.
It is virtually impossible to reform the irreformable.
Luther tried it and got excommunicated for it.
They really won't do the just thing as their whole system is corrupt from top to bottom!
