I assume current members are posting on the Dr. Phil site mainly to get "brownie points" from their leaders. Maybe it is even a bit of peer pressure (from other current SGAs). In fact, I think that the entire MyConclusion.org site is one big exercise in peer pressure. I am just wondering how many different ways they can say the same thing.
I thought it was hilarious how someone posted something like, "My prediction is that we are going to get a lot of current SGAs posting here and that they will say this, this, and this..." and a few posts later they did
exactly what he predicted.
It might be fun to start an article that shows these similarities. Call it something like, "A template for a response". Maybe current members can even use it? It would have something like the following:
Quote:I am a current member of The Family International. I was born and raised in this group. I am x-years old [something like 17-22]. I was never abused nor were any of my friends.
Etc. Etc.
It is amazing how obvious it is to us and the rest of the unaffiliated how much they are sounding like the brainwashed drones that they are.
The difference for these people is that, when they finally leave, there will be a record of what they have said in defence of this cult. I dare anyone to find anything from me defending the cult from when I was a member! You won't find it because I never put any of my "support" in writing and because I don't think I ever believed in the cult.
